Based in the HQ in St Helier, Jersey, you will have access to all relevant equipment to undertake the role.
We can offer:
- £210 per day plus on island allowance of £23 per day.

- Monday to Friday 0800-1600.
Requirement Brief:
- Identifying lines of enquiry and further evidence to support the investigation.
- Liaise with victims and witnesses.
- Obtain thorough statements.
- Review material where required.
- Adhere to legislation and force processes.
- Build evidential case files.
- Undertake activities required for the development of the investigation.
Experience and Skills:
- A highly experienced and skilled PIP 2 investigator with previous exposure to ABE interviews and Child Protection cases. Major crime experience and varied CID backgrounds will be considered on merit.
- The ideal person will be a police practitioner and have experience in conducting recent and non-recent safeguarding and sexual abuse investigations having supported a public protection environment.
- It would be advantageous if you have investigated sensitive investigations relating to domestic abuse, child abuse, sexual abuse with good understanding and awareness of RASSO and other sensitive investigations.
- You must be ABE trained.
- You will need to pass a Non-Police Personnel Vetting level 2 check (NPPV2).
