Chronicle Systems Manager (Joint Operations Unit)- HIOWC 255

Chronicle is a database system for recording training skills and is the licence for people to be operationally deployable. You will be responsible for data input into the system and liaising with training teams across Thames Valley and Hampshire & Isle of Wight Police.

You will be responsible for accurate and standardised data is captured and regular compliance checks are completed. Along with managing the set up of new chronicle modules and working systems as they are purchased.

You will need to interrogate and identify risks/exploitation within the Chronicle system, by identifying potential misuse while ensuring appropriate intervention.

The role will include advising the Senior Management Team on TASER training and capabilities Public Order Public Safety training and capabilities.

Representing the CTI (Chief TASER Instructor) as the College of Policing SPOC for all things chronicle and set operating and audit standards as well as managing the trunk of chronicle including managing curriculum updates via Public Order / TASER Inspector and CTI.

What do I need?

Educated to QCF Level 3 OR work experience deemed to have brought the postholder to a comparable level.

Driven experience on accurate data recording and be able to provide statistical information

Use of Microsoft applications is desirable

To have prior experience of using training records systems and use of spreadsheets and be Computer literate.

To have the ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative when required.
