Disclosure Officer

Red Snapper Recruitment are recruiting for a Disclosure Officer for a Financial Regulator. The role can be worked fully remote. The Disclosure Review Officer delivers disclosure reviews under clear direction, focusing on accuracy, consistency and timeliness. The role forms part of a wider disclosure team and contributes to the efficient completion of disclosure reviews on assigned cases or workstreams.

Location: Stratford, London (hybrid or remote considered.
Contract: 3 months initially, will be extended much further.
Salary: £22 PAYE / £28.85 UMB per hour

Main Responsibilities

• Review allocated batches of relevant unused material in accordance with the disclosure review protocol
• Apply the CPIA disclosure test to identify potentially disclosable material
• Accurately tag, categorise and describe documents on EDT
• Apply redactions and issue tags as instructed
• Escalate uncertainties, borderline disclosure decisions or technical issues to the Disclosure Officer
• Maintain clear audit trails and comply with disclosure workflows and timescales
• Work collaboratively with Disclosure Officers, Reviewers and case teams

• Demonstrates a good working knowledge of disclosure principles and CPIA requirements
• Delivers careful, accurate work with attention to detail
• Follows instructions and established processes consistently
• Communicates clearly and raises issues appropriately
• Values collaborative working and feedback to improve disclosure quality
