Organisational Change Project Manager – HIOWC305

Project Managers keep the work on trackwith strong governance, accountability and effective risk and issues management, but it’s equally important we support our people to be prepared for change; ensuring they know the “what, when, how and why”.

We don’t just work internally; our team often link in with regional and national projects to ensure we deliver change effectively across policing.

What do we need from you?

You will establish, lead and motivate temporary project teams, making sure the right business experts provide input and external experts, such as Estates, IT etc are actively engaged in delivering the project and construct business cases for a project, setting out the objectives, evidence base, options, operational benefits and value for money case, enabling senior officers to make sound evidence based decisions.

You will also produce clear timetabled project plans and other mandatory documentation using relevant project tools e.g. MS-Project and provide regular communication updates, e.g. highlight reports, status reports, internal and external communications etc and present at senior leadership governance meetings as and when required.

Essential Qualifications

Educated to Educated to QCF Level 6 OR work experience deemed to have brought the post holder to a comparable level. Relevant Project management certification for example PMP, CAPM, CSM or Prince 2 practitioner certification.

 

Essential Work Experience

Proven use of MS Project, Powerpoint, Word and Excel or equivalent software systems in a project environment.

Proven successful delivery in an organisational change project/programme environment which reduced costs while improving performance.

Delivering projects to deadlines and within budget.
